Introduction

Furnace is one of the planned Killers for Rounds of Insanity.

A coal-powered killing machine, who's design was ripped directly off of Robotnik's various Mecha Sonics. Furnace was created by The Famined One, a cryptic, twisted hunter of mobians who, upon taking an interest in Sonic and his friends, began impersonating Eggman and using his likeness as inspiration for various contraptions and machines to catch the blue rodent, Furnace being one of them. A powerful robot perfectly designed for both speed and power, even being deliberately programmed to have some bloodlust of its own.

One day, after a handful of failed attempts, The Famined One and Furnace were taking their last chance to catch and kill Sonic after managing to catch and kill one of his friends earlier, giving him the emotional drive to come find them instead; A perfect lure. However, things did not go as planned. The enraged Sonic ended up beating the two, causing an unprecedented explosion in the process. Sonic had escaped of course, but Furnace and Famished One were left there, too beaten and broken to stand. And so, they were both engulfed by the blast.. or at least The Famine One did, as Furnace was shrouded in darkness that contrasted with the light, being taken away at the very last second.
